The Club announces it has released striker Marc Charles-Smith, while Malakai Mars has returned.

Marc Charles-Smith has departed having been at the Club since last November.

Manager Spencer Day commented: “I am particularly sad to release Marc who has been without doubt one of the nicest players to work with this last year. However he wants to play more and we cannot financially afford to have a player such as him mainly on the bench.

“He was instrumental in the turn around of last season but with the emergence of Connor he has found game time hard to find this season. I wish we could afford to keep him but we just can’t so I wish him all the very best and thank him for his time, he will be greatly missed and I hated having the conversation with him.”

Taking Charles-Smith’s place is Malakai Mars who is back for a second spell at the Club. Mars had a loan spell with Farnborough towards the end of the 2017-2018 Season during his time with Barnet.

Day said: “We have signed last year’s loanee from Barnet, Malachi Mars who is looking to earn a deal in the short term.

“Another quick striker that fits our mould for this seasons attacking policy and he goes straight into the Harrow match squad.”
