Paul Hodges

Hodgy returns to the Pitching In Southern League Premier South, but this time with Paul Hughes’ Hayes & Yeading United.

Manager Spencer Day explained: “Hodgy and I have had numerous discussions over the last couple of weeks regarding the upcoming season, competition for places we have here now in the number ten role and what we both needed.

“I know it’s been a tough decision for both of us as he played a big part of our promotion last season and even though he was here for just less than one season he became so popular both on and off the pitch and is a true gentleman.

“He goes with our massive thanks and best wishes and I’m sure he will be pushing for another promotion at Hayes & Yeading.

“He lives just around the corner and I’m sure we will still see a lot of him and maybe in a Boro shirt again some day.”

Tony Lee

Farnborough Football Club can confirm it has signed Tony Lee on a 28-day loan, although he is serving a one-match suspension therefore will not feature in tomorrow’s Vanarama National League South opener.
