Do you have a skill the club can use? Are you willing to volunteer a few hours of your time? Are you retired or not working and can spend some of your time helping out the club you support? Are you a student who needs intern work? Then contact us. In mind of the recent promotion to the Blue Square South we are reviewing the clubs requirements and are aware that there are a great deal of skills in our supporter base. As a community club, and in line with many other BSS Clubs, we would like the fans to have more involvement in the day to day running of the club. As we progress we need to grow our fan base and this scheme will ensure that more money is directly invested back into improving the facilities and match day experience for all. We are also looking for any professionals who would like join a volunteer list which the club can call when required. Farnborough Football Club currently has the following volunteer positions: Bar Staff (Paid Position)Shifts are available 12pm-11pm Mon-Fri, 11am-1am Saturdays, and 12pm-10.30pm Sundays. Although previous experience is desirable, it's is not mandatory as full training will be given. Club DoctorFarnborough Football Club are looking for one or more local GPs to join our existing medical team on match days and to advise the Club on all medical matters. Although having a Club Doctor not a mandatory requirement in the Blue Square South, it is for the Conference National which Boro aspire to join. Match Day Manager & Assistant ManagerCo-ordinating all match day activities including Turnstiles, Stewards, Programme Selling, Match Day Mascots, Bars, and Car Parking. The Assistant Manager would help the Manager with their responsibilties and have turnstile cash handling as an individual responsibility. The Assistant Manager assume responsibilty in the Match Day Manager's absence. Mascot EscortsYou would meet and greet any match day mascots and escort them until the match starts. This would include introducing them to the players, handing out their kit and taking them on a pre-match warm up. There having coaching or footballling experience would be a distinct advantage. StewardsMaintaining crowd control and assisting supporters as directed by the Chief Steward. Health and Safety OfficerResponsible for writting, co-ordinating, and implementing the Health and Safety policy at Farnborough. Programme ContributersProvide regular pages or sections for the Match Day Programme. Programme SellersSelling the Match Day programme within the ground and car park. Disabilities OfficerResponsible for updating, co-ordinating, and implementing the Disabilities policy at Farnborough. For liasing and forging links with disabled organisations and co-ordinating disabled facilities grant applications. CameramanVideo record all Farnborough's home matches. Turnstile Operatorsyou would be operating the Electronic Turnstiles and taking cash payments. Club Shop AssistantsAssisting the Shop Manager in selling Club Merchandise.Car Park AttendantsTaking payment for parking and directing cars to parking spaces. Marketing Co-ordinatorProducing Club PDFs, Posters, and Marketing Campaigns, sending Posters to the email distribution list. Poster DistributorsThe Club would like people to canvass local businesses, shops, Post Offices, etc in their area to see if we can email them posters for them to print and display - businesses will be provided with 2 match day tickets. We currently want people in all areas (including Aldershot!). Also any supporters who would like to put a poster up at work please contact the Club and you'll be added to the email distribution list. Farney RubbleVolunteers who like dressing up are wanted! We currently have one Farnie, we need more to enable Farnie to appear at all home games and for school and club visits.
