Farnborough Football Club have completed the signings of Reggie Young, Tony Halsey, Kavan Cotter (loan), Mathias Bakare and Jacob Lear; as well as the appointment of Ben Murray to the First Team Management.
Winger Reggie Young returns for a second spell at the Club.
Striker Tony Halsey also returns from last Season’s squad, having made the step up from Redhill last January. Tony will dual-register with Horley Town over the coming weeks as he seeks full match sharpness having been away during Pre-Season.
Twenty-year old central-midfielder Kavan Cotter signs on an initial 30-day loan from National League South Wealdstone. The deal also sees the youngster eligible for Farnborough in the FA Cup.
Another central-midfielder signed in time for the weekend is Mathias Bakare. The 24-year-old has previously played for Aveley, VCD Athletic, Billericay Town, Stalybridge Celtic, Connah’s Quay Nomads and most recently Ashton United.
Goalkeeper Jacob Lear has also signed from Tadley Calleva, as a back-up to Liam Beach.
A welcome addition to the First Team is Ben Murray who joins the coaching staff. Murray stepped down as Manager of Step 4 Ashford Town (Middlesex) last Season after an impressive six years in charge working on tight budgets yet consistently producing competitive sides.
