Farnborough Football Club have been awarded a Club Preparation Fund grant of £500 from the Premier League, The FA and the Government’s Football Foundation.

Following the £7M investment into preparing the country’s pitches, the Premier League, The FA and the Government, through Sport England, are providing a further £2.19 million to help Clubs get their buildings ready for football’s return.

This grant is to help modify and prepare the Easy As HGV Stadium so that it is safe to reopen, as and when Government advice has allowed the different formats of football to start being played again.

Club Preparation funding will be spent on the following three key areas:

  • Keeping clubhouse and equipment clean
  • Maintaining social distancing and avoiding congestion
  • Promoting good hygiene.

The Football Foundation is a charity funded by the Premier League, The FA and the Government, through Sport England.
