One of Farnborough Football Club’s long serving Match Day volunteers, Chris ‘Cookie’ Cook is collecting donations and sponsorship ready to have his head shaved on the pitch at our home game on Saturday 15 September.

Across the UK, thousands of incredible people are getting sponsored to shave their hair for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The money that you help to raise by supporting Brave the Shave can help Macmillan be there for people loving with cancer when they need it most.

Cookie commented: “I’m doing it for my younger sister Maria, my older brother Mick, my nephew David and one of our own, Kev from the Club. He was Libby’s other half. They’ve all passed away from cancer.”

Cookie is currently making good progress on his fundraising target of £500.
