Farnborough are back in action this Saturday making the trip to 17th placed Northwood in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central.

Farnborough

Farnborough currently remain second in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central with 70 points from 33 games and are looking to cement a Play-Off position.

A Pat Cox brace against his former Club saw Boro’ win 2-1 at Fleet Town in The Yellows’ last League outing.

Spencer Day’s side were without a game last weekend as the scheduled trip to Kempston Rovers was Postponed. However, Farnborough hosted Kingstonian in a Friendly on Tuesday (7 March) evening with goals from Josh Huggins, Perry Coles and Eddie Smith earning a 3-2 victory.

Speaking to Non League Pitchero after Boro’s most recent win, frontman Pat Cox said: “It was a massive win after the disappointment of losing at home on Saturday.

“We needed a reaction and we got the job done. In terms of scoring my goals, was a great feeling especially the second one, I was quite chuffed with that.

“We are just going take one game at a time. Realistically it is Royston’s to lose but we will keep going and we want make sure we finish in second place so it means a home game in the playoffs which is important.

“It’s a great club with unbelievable support and I just want help anyway I can to get them moving in the right direction.”

Farnborough last time out (vs Fleet Town): Aaron Bufton (gk), Josh Huggins, John Oyenuga, CJ Fearn (Capt), Curtis Osano, Sam Pearce, Jordan Graham, Scott Donnelly, Pat Cox, Dennis Oli, Nic Ciardini; Perry Coles, Eddie Smith, Jack Barton, Keith Emmerson and Aiden Upward (gk).
