It’s a top of the table clash as Royston Town visit The Rushmoor Community Stadium in this weekends big Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central game.
Goals from Josh Huggins, Nic Ciardini, Eddie Smith and Scott Donnelly’s first of the Season helped Farnborough to a 4-2 victory at Northwood last time out.
That win came as a cost though as goalkeeper, Aaron Bufton suffered a nasty injury which will see him ruled out for a number of weeks. Boro’ have since brought in goalkeeper Zaki Oualah from fellow League opponents, Aylesbury United.
Speaking ahead of the top of the table encounter, Manager, Spencer Day said: “Congratulations to Royston on an amazing season. When we went there not long ago we were understrength and they blew us away.
“We will try and show them how much better we are than that but keeping a solid eye on the bigger picture however for the game nothing other than a victory will be on our minds. Then we will re-focus on joining them in the division above next season.
“For once it’s nice to be big underdogs so let’s enjoy the challenge and the experience of a big game that will benefit us for the Play-Offs ahead.”
