This Saturday, Farnborough go head-to-head with fellow Play-Off rivals Marlow in a big game in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central.

Farnborough

Farnborough lie second in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central and are hoping to put together a long unbeaten run having won their previous four games.

Last weekend, Spencer Day’s side took three points from a tricky Away game at Arlesey Town thanks to Eddie Smith’s eleventh goal of the Season which was scored from the Penalty spot.

Boro’ have won their previous five Home games at The Rushmoor Community Stadium, most recently defeating Aylesbury 1-0 on 11 February.

Ahead of Saturday’s encounter, Manager, Spencer Day said: “Saturday’s opponents are pushing for promotion and shaded the reverse fixture. They [Marlow] were probably the most solid side we faced as despite us having the majority of the day they defended superbly and took the points with a set piece.

“We know we will need to be a lot better to get a result before we face our local neighbours Fleet next Tuesday.

“We find ourselves in a comfortable position in the table however I will not let the season drift and let the players know that we have a lot of work to do before the play-offs arrive.”
