Farnborough commence a significant April in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central against Aylesbury United at The Rushmoor Community Stadium.

Fresh from victory at Hanwell Town last time out, Farnborough head in to the final month of the Season on the back of an unbeaten March.

Pat Cox hit 24 League goals for the Season with a hat-trick in last Saturday’s 4-1 victory at Hanwell Town, with fellow strike-partner Perry Coles also getting on the scoresheet.

Boro’ currently have a former Aylesbury United goalkeeper between-the-sticks in Zaki Oualah who made the move from Buckinghamshire on mid-March. Oualah made 41 appearances for Saturday’s visitors this Season, keeping nine clean sheets in all competitions.

The Yellows bolstered their squad ahead of the run-in with well-known striker, Jamie Cureton returning to The Rushmoor Community Stadium until the end of the Season.

Giving his views on victory at Hanwell Town last time out, Farnborough Manager, Spencer Day said: “Last Saturday we traveled to Hanwell Town and in very difficult windy conditions put on a polished away performance.

“It was great to see [Pat] Cox get a hat-trick and I know he is very keen to open his account at Cherrywood! A special thanks to our travelling support who sang almost throughout and it was greatly appreciated by the dressing room.

“Overall I’ve been delighted with the reaction of the players as it’s very difficult to keep focus game on game when in reality the results don’t mean much at the moment.

Speaking on Aylesbury United, Day added: “Saturday’s opponents had a very good win last weekend so we know yet again we will need to play well. There is just, as the cliché says, no easy games and as much as we look to the end of the month we owe it to everyone to put on the best performance we can.”

Former Ducks keeper, Zaki Oualah has started the previous two games for Farnborough
