23/01/1953 – 10/07/2017

Mike Moved to Ash Vale in 1982 and soon became an avid fan of Farnborough Town, for 35 years he was a loyal supporter, following the club home and away.

In his early years, he would stand behind the goal and as years went by he moved to his favourite spot between the 18-yard line and halfway line with his friends.

He would join his fellow supporter on the away coach come rain or shine to any destination. He loved the club town dearly and his family will always remember him for this.

Following his untimely passing he was laid to rest with the colours of his beloved team with the club badge. His ashes will be scattered at Cherrywood Road in due course as this was where he was happiest.

During this Saturday’s Home game with Redditch United, Mike’s family have suggested the 64th minute for a minutes applause, as this was the age when Mike passed away.
