Farnborough Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Pat Cox on a deal with options until the end of the 2017-2018 Season.

Our latest signing has previously spent time in the South of England with: Reading, Salisbury City, Gosport Borough, Guildford City, Hayes & Yeading United, Basingstoke Town and Staines Town.

Cox, 27, also has experience in the Conference South and joins Farnborough having recently departed from fellow League rivals, Fleet Town.

After finally getting his man, Manager, Spencer Day explained: “This signing came out of the blue due to the financial position at Fleet Town but fits our profile of signing local hungry players.

“It’s fifth time lucky getting Coxy but I’m grateful to the board allowing me to bring in the player based on mainly on next season.

“Coxy has always been horrible to play against and has a great track record at Step 3 and 4 so I’m looking forward to seeing him in the Boro shirt at long last!”

Subject to paperwork clearance, Pat will go into the squad for this Saturday’s trip to Arlesey Town.
