Farnborough Football Club are delighted to have today (Friday) signed two senior players in Terrell Forbes and Dennis Oli from Hemel Hempstead Town on long term contracts until 2017.
Former Farnborough Town striker, Dennis Oli (32) and defender, Terrell Forbes (34) have both joined Boro’ long-term following their departures from Vauxhall Road.
Speaking on the signings, Manager Spencer Day commented: “I am delighted to have started the rebuilding process with two excellent signings at both ends of the pitch.
“Between the two lads they have many hundreds of Football League appearances and have shown their hunger to join Boro. I am looking at all possibilities for next season but am very pleased with the attitude of the lads towards the challenges that lie ahead in any division.
“As much as we still have a battle ahead I’m keen to get the basis of a very strong side together as soon as possible and have had initial talks with a number of our current squad as well as a number of other targets which may come to a positive conclusion in the coming days or wait until pre-season.
“Bogdan Vastsuk’s loan has been extended and there could still be another couple of new faces very shortly to strengthen both our team and squad.
“Training last night had a real buzz and as much as we have a long way to go I hope this is just the start of an exciting period on the pitch now that the off field matters are fully resolved.”
