The Club announces that agreement has been made to release Jamie Cureton, further, Habib Cissoko has also been released.

Following the recent Squad departures, Manager, Spencer Day explained:¬†“Of course I’m disappointed to lose Jamie [Cureton] after a month and earlier than previously expected but it’s a great opportunity for him and who knows what the future holds if it doesn’t work out.

“Habib needs to go and find regular football and we thank both players for their commitment for the last few weeks.

“I have seven day approaches in for three players and I’m confident two of them will be successful in the comings few days. They are like-for-like replacements for our departing players and I’m sure will fit in well should they agree to sign.

“All three continue our policy of predominately looking for local players.

“We also congratulate Dennis Oli on his addition to his family (at last) and he is expected to be back in the squad this weekend along with Eddie Smith who has finished his suspension.

“As much as Saturdays FA Cup defeat was a hammer blow we are really looking forward to this big weekend having rested most of the squad in the Hampshire Cup defeat where we gave squad players and youngsters the chance for some valuable game time whilst giving some well earned rest to others.

“Roll on Saturday and getting back to winning ways!”
