Metropolitan Police

Metropolitan Police are currently 21st in the Ryman League Premier Division with 21 points from as many games.

Jim Cooper’s side will be spurred on to climb out of the Relegation zone following an impressive 2-1 Home win over Promotion-chasing Leiston on Saturday.

Goals from Oliver Robinson and former Farnborough winger, Roman Michael-Percil helped The Met to bag their fifth League victory of the Season.

Speaking after his side beat Leiston at the weekend, Manager, Jim Cooper said: “If possession wins football matches then quite rightly we should have been beaten.

“Yes Leiston had the lions share of possession, yes they were dominant in the first half but football is all about scoring more than your opposition and tha’s exactly what we did.

“We now do not have a league game until the 17th of December so we have arranged a Friendly this Tuesday at Home to Farnborough.”

Metropolitan Police last time out (vs Leiston): Nathan Baxter (gk), Elliot Taylor, Mekhail McLaughlin, Will Salmon (Capt), Oliver Robinson, Rob Bartley, Luke Robertson, Sam Williams, Laurent Hamici, Lloyd Macklin, Roman Micheal-Percil, Steve Sutherland, Tom Hickey, Charlie Collins, Dan Summers and Orlando Smith.
