On Monday evening, injury-hit Boro’ came away from a trip to Kingstonian with all three points in a dramatic 2-1 victory at the Kingsmeadow Stadium.

A last-gasp goal from substitute, Dean Joseph-Whittingham earned Farnborough three more crucial points in the fight for survival, after the returning Keith Emmerson had put the Yellows ahead.

Speaking after Monday’s victory, Manager Spencer Day told GetHampshire: “It’s very rare, when things go wrong, that you get what you deserve, and we did tonight, so we’re going to enjoy it.”

“It’s a fantastic result but we’ve got to go and do it again now in what is a massive week for us.

A delighted Day added: “I’m delighted for Dean. He’s a lad with a great heart and he’s been a superstar for us tonight.

“We did more in the first 15 minutes than we did in 95 on Saturday and that pleases me because we were really wound up for this today. We’ve had some phenomenal chances but we got our reward in the end.”

Farnborough last time out (vs Kingstonian): Melvin Minter (gk), Keith Emmerson, Freddie Grant, CJ Fearn (Capt), Jack Smith, Terrell Forbes, Josh Gallagher, Charlie Allen, Dennis Oli, Oliver Bailey, Jack Barton, Usman Adeniji, Harry Knight and Dean Joseph-Whittingham.
