This afternoon, Farnborough return to Silver Jubilee Park to take on hosts, Hendon in the Hendon Invitation Cup Final, kick off 3:30pm.

Farnborough were locked in a stalemate with Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division outfit, Slough Town on Saturday afternoon, and the two sides could only be separated by Penalty kicks.

Following an initial 0-0 draw, Farnborough won 4-2 on Penalties to seal book their place in the Final. Nic Ciardini, Jack Battie, Eddie Smith and Josh Huggins successfully converted spot-kicks for Boro’.

Farnborough suffered their first defeat of Pre-Season to Ryman Premier side, Merstham

Hendon

Hendon are familiar opposition to Farnborough, having met The Greens in the Ryman Premier last Season.

Gary McCann’s side comfortably beat Farnborough 3-0 on Home turf last campaign, but lost the reverse fixture 0-1 at The Rushmoor Community Stadium.

Hendon booked their place in the Final with a 2-0 victory over Ryman League Division One South side, Carshalton Athletic, courtesy of a goal in each half from Spencer McCall and Karl Oliyide.
