Farnborough’s penultimate Pre-Season Friendly sees Ryman Premier side, Kingstonian the visitors to The Rushmoor Community Stadium.
Last weekend was a successful one for Farnborough who returned to Hampshire as the Hendon Invitation Cup Champions 2016.
Boro’ beat Slough Town 4-2 on Penalties following a 0-0 draw to make it through to the Final where The Yellows overcame hosts, Hendon 2-1 courtesy of a Nic Ciardini brace.
Boro’s Sunday squad included five of Marc Wardley’s Academy players in Jordan Goater, Jamal Batchilly, Jack Hellewell, Ethan Allen and Aiden White, as well as last Seasons Academy products, Harry Knight and Ryan Zidyana.
Speaking on last weekends Tournament success, Manager Spencer Day told GetHampshire: “It couldn’t have gone any better to be honest – and that’s without bringing home a trophy.
Day beamed: “When you take into account the level of our performance, the opposition, the workouts, the young players who impressed and no injuries received, it was better than I could have imagined. There’s a real buzz about the place at the moment.”

As Farnborough supporters may well know, Kingstonian compete in the Ryman Premier and finished last Season in 7th place with 73 points.
Despite knocking Boro’ out of the FA Cup and the Ryman League Cup last Season, Farnborough managed to complete the League double over the K’s
Farnborough won the first League meeting 2-1 at Kingsmeadow before Kingstonian suffered a dramatic 3-2 defeat at The Rushmoor Community Stadium.
Manager, Tommy Williams bolstered his Squad over the Summer with the additions of midfielder Jake Nicholson (Walton Casuals) as well as strikers Tom Derry (Billericay Town) and Ryan Moss (Dulwich Hamlet).
In their last Pre-Season outing, Kingstonian won 2-0 away to South Park thanks to goals from Peter Dean and Ryan Moss.
