A second Home game in four days for Farnborough sees 3rd placed East Thurrock United the visitors in the Ryman League Premier Division, kick off 7:45pm.

The Farnborough faithful have been treated to two wonder goals in the past two games, however those strikes couldn’t prevent the Yellows from starting February with back-to-back defeats.

Boro’ suffered a sixth consecutive League defeat on Saturday, going down 2-1 at Home to 5th placed Tonbridge Angels, despite an impressive goal from Basingstoke Town loanee, George Hallahan.

Having recently locked horns with two of the top five teams in the Ryman League Premier Division, more tough tests are coming thick and fast with Farnborough in desperate need of points.

Tuesdays opponents, East Thurrock United overturned a one goal deficit to beat Farnborough 4-1 in the reverse fixture back in November.

Visitors, East Thurrock United are flying high in 3rd place in the Ryman League Premier Division, with 60 points from 32 games.

John Coventry’s sides 13 game unbeaten run came to an end on Saturday with a 1-2 Home defeat to Merstham, with striker Sam Higgings netting for East Thurrock United, having also missed an earlier Penalty.

The Rocks have two of the League’s current top scorers in the names of clinical duo, Sam Higgins (29 goals) and Lewis Smith (18 goals).
