The new Season is here! Farnborough kick off the 2016-2017 campaign with a curtain raiser at Home to Bedford Town, kick off 3pm.
Farnborough will head into the new campaign with plenty of momentum and looking to pick up where they finished last Season.
The Yellows wrapped up Pre-Season 2016 with a 3-1 win at Chertsey Town on Tuesday evening, courtesy of goals from Sam Shaban, Jack Barton and Nic Ciardini.
Academy players, Jordan Goater (who turned 16 on Thursday) and Jamal Batchilly have also consistently featured for Boro’ throughout Pre-Season.
Manager, Spencer Day is currently awaiting international clearance for Curtis Osano & Habib Sissoko and this week told GetHampshire: “It’s causing me a monumental headache which I really didn’t need ahead of such a busy first week of the Season.
A frustrated Day added: “All we can do is wait and hope for the best.”

Managed by Jon Taylor, The Eagles finished last Season in 16th place in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central, with 49 points.
Bedford Town rounded of their Pre-Season with a 7-3 victory at Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side, Ardley United last weekend.
Saturday’s visitors have also added vastly experienced striker Leroy Griffiths to their squad – the former Farnborough Town striker is currently ages 39.
The last meeting between the two sides was in the Southern Premier League back in March 2010 when Farnborough won 6-1 at Cherrywood Road.
