It’s David against Goliath at Champion Hill this weekend as Farnborough travel to title-favourites Dulwich Hamlet in the Ryman League Premier Division, kick off 3pm.
The Yellows look to end a run of six consecutive defeats, stretching back to Boxing Day last year, however, high-flying Dulwich Hamlet stand in their way.
Last time out, Farnborough narrowly lost 1-2 at Home to 5th placed Tonbridge Angels, despite taking a lead through an impressive goal from Basingstoke Town loanee, George Hallahan.
Spencer Day’s side are currently 9 points adrift of safety, with 15 League games of the Season still to play.
In the reverse fixture back in September last year, Dulwich Hamlet recorded a 4-1 win over Farnborough at The Rushmoor Community Stadium.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Away game, Manager Spencer Day told GetHampshire: “It promises to be a great occasion for the players and we are all really looking forward to it.
“Of course, no-one expects us to go there and get a result, in fact many will say we are on a hiding to nothing, but we will go there without fear and look to embrace the occasion. It’s a great opportunity for us.
“The players are really looking forward to playing in front of a big crowd, but we also know that with that comes expectancy and pressure. This time, the pressure is off us, so hopefully we can go there, play our own game and look to spoil the party.
“We know we are going to have to defend well, but we’ve been doing that of late and have been competitive.
“We’ve managed to stay in games for long spells against the likes of Hampton and Tonbridge recently and we’re going to need that kind of resilience at Dulwich on Saturday.”

Dulwich Hamlet are the Leagues favourites for promotion and are well on course for at least a play-off spot come the end of the Season, as Saturdays hosts are 2nd with 60 points from 33 games.
Gavin Rose’s sides eight game unbeaten run came to an end last Saturday with a 2-3 defeat at VCD Athletic.
The Hamlet also fell victim to Lewes’ impressive recent run, loosing 1-3 at The Dripping Pan in midweek.
