With just seven games remaining of their Ryman League Premier Division Season, Farnborough head to New Lodge to take on play-off contenders Billericay Town, kick off 3pm.

Farnborough Camp

Spencer Day’s side are currently unbeaten in three games, heading into the final month of the Ryman League Premier Division Season.

Back-to-back victories at the start of March saw Farnborough take points off Grays Athletic and Metropolitan Police, before drawing blank with play-off chasing Enfield Town last weekend.

With Boro’ looking over their shoulders, relegation rivals Brentwood Town (22nd) lost 0-1 at Home to Wingate & Finchley in mid-week, but they still have two games on Boro’.

The Yellows are seven points adrift of 20th placed Needham Market, although Farnborough do have a game in hand.

Last week, Manager Spencer Day secured the signing of midfielder Matt Ball on loan from National League South side, Wealdstone until the end of the Season.

Speaking ahead of the Easter weekend, Manager Spencer Day told GetHampshire: “They are two very difficult games [vs Billericay Town and Kingstonian] for two different reasons.

“We desperately need people in on next to no money, so it’s back to bringing out the begging bowl.”

Farnborough last time out (vs Enfield Town): Aaron Bufton (gk), John Oyenuga, Freddie Grant, CJ Fearn (Capt), Jack Smith, Terrell Forbes, Matt Ball, Charlie Allen, Dennis Oli, Bogdan Vastsuk, Merrick James-Lewis, Trevor Mutero, Josh Francis, Usman Adeniji, Harry Knight and Melvin Minter (gk).

Top scorer, Bogdan Vastsuk is denied by Enfield Town keeper, Nathan McDonald

Opposition Camp

Hosts, Billericay Town sit 8th in the Ryman League Premier Division with 64 points from 39 games.

Craig Edwards’ promotion-chasing side have won 17, drawn 3 and lost 9 so far in the League and are just a win away from a play-off position (goal difference as-side).

Last weekend, The Blues suffered a 1-2 defeat away to current League leaders, Hampton & Richmond Borough – despite a second half Penalty from midfielder Glenn Poole.

In the reverse fixture, goals from Glenn Poole (Penalty) and Onome Sodje helped Billericay Town to a 2-0 victory at The Rushmoor Community Stadium, back in January.

Billericay Town have also recently added to their squad with the signings of Luciano Osbourne from Enfield Town, and defender Oneil Odofinon loan from National League side Torquay United.

Speaking ahead of Saturdays game, Manager Craig Edwards told Brentwood Gazette: “Anyone who says they don’t look at the table is a liar. You would like to not do it, but you can’t, the temptation is always too big.

“You look at who’s playing who and hoping you’ll get a favourable result for your team, but ultimately if we go and take care of our business, we’ve got a chance.

“I’m too long in the tooth to do anything like that, because it never works out how you wanted.

Edwards continued: “In hindsight you would have fancied us to beat Brentwood and Lewes and maybe find it difficult against Dulwich, but we drew with Brentwood and Lewes and completely blew Dulwich away.

“Farnborough will be tough. They’ve signed some fantastic players at this level. Terrell Forbes and Dennis Oli from the division above, Charlie Allen, who was with us as a youngster; he’s as good as any player in the league.

“They’ve been getting some favourable results, so it will be a tough game for us.

“It’s two games where we’re playing teams at either end of the table, but they’re both going to be very tough games.

“At this stage of the season, all games are tough but we don’t fear anyone.”

Billericay Town last time out (vs Hampton & Richmond Borough): Jack Giddens (gk), Ibrahima Diallo, Alex Stephenson, Conor Hubble, Ejiro Okosiene, George Beavan, Quinten Monville, Glenn Poole, Tom Derry, Jordan Cox, Teddy Nesbitt, Evans Kouassi, Hazelwood, Mike Fondop-Talum, Haret and Onome Sodje.

Craig Edwards’ side came away from Farnborough with all 3 points back in January
