This Saturday afternoon, Farnborough head to The ASM Stadium to lock horns with 10th placed Aylesbury United in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central.

Despite slipping up last weekend, Farnborough still sit second in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central and trail Royston Town by four points and have played a game more than the current League leaders.

Boro’ are level on points with third placed Kempston Rovers with only goal difference (of 13) separating the two teams.

Last Saturday, Farnborough let a one-goal lead slip as they suffered their first League defeat of the Season at The Rushmoor Community Stadium, going down 2-3 to Hanwell Town.

A goal from Jamie Cureton – who has just signed for St Albans City – and Perry Coles’ tenth of the Season couldn’t prevent Spencer Day’s side from a fifth League defeat of the Season.

The Yellows were in action in midweek with a Friendly at Metropolitan Police, playing out a 2-2 draw with their Ryman League Premier Division hosts. Defenders, Ollie Treacher and Sam Pearce (Penalty) were the Boro’ scorers on Tuesday evening.
