Farnborough Football Club are delighted to announce the signings of Callum Webb (on dual registration), Ed Sanders, Ryan Scott and Tommy Wright.

‘Boro have today bolstered their Squad with the signing of three defensive players and a striker.

Ed Sanders, a centre half, arrives from Hayes and Yeading United and was only released from Sheffield Wednesday earlier this year.

Callum Webb, a full back or midfielder, arrives from Slough Town on a dual registration but was with Millwall until the Summer.

Ryan Scott, a defensive midfielder, is well known to Boro fans and returns after starting the season at Gosport Borough.

Striker, Tommy Wright, arrives from Sutton United where he has gained some valuable minutes in the National League South this Season.

Bradley Fraser has also recieved International Clearance and the striker will be available for Saturday’s Ryman League Premier Division game at Enfield Town.

On the additions, Manager Spencer Day commented: “It’s been a busy week here at Cherrywood Road.

“I think our young squad has so much potential but we needed to add some defensive bite especially with upcoming suspensions and unavailabilities.

“We have a number of injuries which seem to be taking longer than expected to clear up so bringing in these four lads gives us much better strength in depth and the chance not to rush players back from injury.

“I said to the players after the FA Cup game that we are close to being a very good side indeed and I’m sure these additions will only help us.

“Ryan [Scott] also joins my backroom staff and his experience on the pitch will be vital, he’s just the type of player we’ve been missing and he’s also had a brief experience at management with Badshot Lea.

“Also I welcome Marc Wardley whose stepped up from our Head of Academy. I’m sure over the coming weeks they will both be able to help us climb up the League table and I’m grateful for their support.”
