The Club are delighted to announce the loan signing of Perry Ryan from Havant & Waterlooville until the end of the season as well as the signing of Guyana International Captain Chris Nurse having received International clearance.

Midfielder Perry Ryan, 22, joins on loan from Conference South rivals Havant and Waterloovile until the end of the season with a standard recall clause after 28 days.

Reece Beckles has also returned to Woking and we thank him for his time at the Club.

Manager Spencer Day commented “Both these signings come before a vital month with key games against teams around us mostly away from home.

Speaking about the loan signing of Ryan, Day said: “Perry is one of the very best midfielders in this League with bags of experience at such a young age and has only been kept out of Havant’s promotion chasing side by a player that was plying his trade in the Championship last season.”

Perry Ryan exclusively told “It was a no brainer, Spencer and Lee are both good guys and good professionals in the game, the Club itself is a good club and everytime I’ve played their the fans are always good.

“Nic [Ciardini], Josh [Huggins] and Scott [Donnelly] speak highly of everyone to do in and around the Club so it was an easy decision and will be a great opportunity for me to play games and help get the club up the table where the clubs belongs.”

Having revived International clearance, Guyana International Midfielder and Captain Chris Nurse, 30, signs on a short term deal before returning to America.

On the addition of Guyana 6 foot tall Midfielder Chris Nurse to the Squad, Day said: “Chris has been playing in the division just under the MLS in the USA and has been highly recommended. Both are experienced and physical players.

“As much as our youngsters have done their best, continue to improve and are a big part of our future the next month is vital to our survival and I’m delighted to get both players in as they certainly strengthen our squad.”

The Club can also confirm the departure of defender Amadeu Arnau, also known as Xapi, due to a large amount of work commitments. We thanks Xapi for his time with the Club.

Xapi gave us the following message for Farnborough fans: “It has been a pleasure play with Farnborough. At the moment it is quite complicated to combine football and my new job because I am really focused with my career in Engineering now.

“Hopefully in the near future I can play a good level again. All the best for the Farnborough family and thank you very much for all. Keep going lads!”

We can also confirm that Roman Michael-Percil, Jamie Hand and Dan Bennett are registered to play for the Club. Lloyd Foot has also departed.

Ghassimu Sow’s loan deal has also been extended for an initial month from Crystal Palace, while Matt Jones returned to his parent Club Swindon Town following the expiration of his loan spell.

We thank all the departing players for their time with the Club and wish them good luck for the future.
