Tonight, Farnborough head to the Earlsmead Stadium to take on 20th placed Hendon in the Ryman League Premier Division, kick off 7:45pm.

Farnborough Camp

Farnborough were beaten 1-3 at Home to Leatherhead at the weekend, despite taking an early lead through Bogdan Vastsuk.

A 14th League defeat of the Season on Saturday left Farnborough four points from safety.

Farnborough met with Hendon just two weeks ago, with the Yellows securing a 1-0 Home victory, courtesy of a second half winner from an in-form Bogdan Vastsuk.

Speaking after Saturday’s Home defeat, Manager Spencer Day said: “Our Home form was excellent until today [against Leatherhead].

“We got a good away point in horrific conditions last week. We know our problem is our away form – that’s very easy to see. We’ve got two difficult away games.

“We’re carrying quite a lot of knocks at the moment – it was very frustration loosing Freddie [Grant]; CJ Fearn is playing through quite horrific injuries. So we might need to try and strengthen a little bit.

“I think we are lacking in depth; when you take a couple players out of us we certainly get weaker, but you’ve got to do the basics better than we did today. We didn’t play in the areas correctly.

Day acknowledged: “There were too many hoofed balls up in the air and the vast majority of my team today didn’t really perform, but it wasn’t due to a lack of effort.

“That game was there for the winning, in the first ten/fifteen minutes. We started very brightly, didn’t do enough and all credit to Leatherhead who thoroughly deserved the three points.”

Farnborough last time out (vs Leatherhead): Aaron Bufton (gk), John Oyenuga, Tom Broadbent, CJ Fearn (Capt), Gary MacDonald, Darryl Siaw, Andrew Jenkinson, Lewis Collins, Bogdan Vastsuk, Jamie White, Nicholas Brown, Hussein Mohammed, Jack Barton, Ryan Zidyana, Josh Francis and Dean Joseph-Whittingham.
