This Tuesday evening, Farnborough head to the Earlsmead Stadium to take on 14th placed Harrow Borough in the Ryman League Premier Division, kick off 7:45pm.
A much needed victory over VCD Athletic on Saturday has lifted Spencer Day’s side to 21st place in the Ryman League Premier Division table.
Tuesday evening’s trip to Harrow Borough is the first of five (potentially more) consecutive tough away games.
Goals from Perry Ryan (Penalty), Harry Williams and Lewis Collins earned Farnborough a crucial 3 points in the Ryman League Premier Division, in a 3-0 Home win over bottom Club, VCD Athletic.
Speaking after his sides third League win of the Season, Manager Spencer Day said: “We’re doing huge travelling at the moment. Harrow Borough – he’s done very well there, he’s had a good turnaround – I know Steve Baker who was my number two very breifly a long time ago. He’s really turned that around there.
“A very difficult set of games but this young squad is sticking in it and we are improving. We learnt today [against VCD Athletic] to see out a game. It might not have been as pretty in the second half but we’ve done our work in the first half.
“We’re improving and we’re learning and you can ask no more of a very young bunch. It’s going to be tough away from home but we’ve just got to keep going.
“There’s an awful lot of the Season left and we’ll stick together, be positive and look forward to the next game, which we are after having two good wins.”
