The Rushmoor Community Stadium is the venue this Saturday, as 22nd placed Farnborough take on 21st placed Needham Market in the Ryman League Premier Division, kick off 3pm.

Farnborough Camp

The Yellows remain in 21st place in the Ryman League Premier Division, after missing an opportunity of three points in the week as Spencer Day’s side suffered a 1-2 Away defeat to 23rd placed VCD Athletic.

Striker, Bogdan Vastsuk got his name on the scoresheet once again on Tuesday evening, as the Reading loanee scored his fourth goal in six competitive games.

Farnborough have won their last two Home games in the Ryman League Premier Division and will be looking to make it a hat-trick with three points at the weekend to keep on the pressure on the teams above them.

Speaking to GetHampshire following Tuesday evenings defeat at VCD Athletic, Manager Spencer stressed: “It was the worst game in 16 years of management I have been involved in. In the end it made it a total lottery and we lost the lottery.

“We had our most physical side out when we lost the toss and our more technical players on when we had the wind, but, ultimately, we just didn’t do enough to win the game.

Day admitted: “We paid the price for two mistakes in absurdly difficult conditions, but even at 2-0 down at half-time we were confident of getting back into it. But, the bottom line is, we just didn’t make the goalkeeper work enough.”

Farnborough last time out (vs VCD Athletic): Aaron Bufton (gk), Darryl Siaw, Freddie Grant, CJ Fearn (Capt), Gary MacDonald, Tom Broadbent, Marcus Moody, Perry Ryan, Bogdan Vastsuk, Tommy Wright, Keith Emmerson, Lewis Collins, Jack Barton, Nicholas Brown, Ryan Zidyana and Josh Francis.
