This Saturday (5 September), Farnborough take on 17th place Metropolitan Police in the Ryman Premier League Divison at The Rushmoor Community Stadium, kick off 3pm.

Farnborough Camp

Spencer Day’s side go in search of their second 3 points of the Season in the first of two Home games over three days.

Farnborough won their opening fixture 5-1 at Home to Lewes last Saturday, with Harry Williams netting a hat-trick and Bobbie Dale bagging a brace.

However, the Yellows went down 3-1 at Burgess Hill Town 48 hours later, following a controversial Refereeing decision and after having Adam Nditi sent off. Bobbie Dale scored Farnborough’s goal, striking the ball home after Harry Williams had a Penalty saved.

Speaking to GetHampshire after Monday’s defeat at Burgess Hill Town, Manager Spencer Day said: “We were totally robbed. If that’s going to be the standard of the officials this year then we’re in for a long season.

“Adam has pushed their guy in the face and it’s cost us. He is a very silly young man and if will he dealt with internally, but instead of looking at two clear penalties and playing against ten men, we had a free-kick and we playing with ten.

Day added: “It was a shame because up until that point we looked okay, passing the ball around well. After that, we had no chance.”
