This Saturday (29 August), Farnborough get their Ryman Premier League Season underway with the visit of Lewes to The Rushmoor Community Stadium, kick off 3pm.
Spencer Day’s new-look Farnborough will kick off their Ryman Premier League campaign at The Rushmoor Community Stadium again Sussex outfit Lewes.
On Tuesday evening, Farnborough drew 1-1 in a Friendly with Conference South outfit Wealdstone, with Harry Williams netting a second half Penalty to earn the visitors a creditable result.
Speaking to GetHampshire this week, Manager Spencer Day said: “For now we are just ecstatic to be playing football again and we can’t wait to get going. ”
Talking about Tuesday’s 1-1 Friendly draw with a strong Wealdstone side: “It was another really good exercise for us. We had periods of creating chances and defending resolutely against a strong, physical Wealdstone.
“It was the perfect example of what this young team can expect in the Ryman League and they showed, for the second game running, that they have what it takes to match these teams for physicality.”
