This Monday evening, 22nd placed Farnborough welcome 19th placed Hendon to The Rushmoor Community Stadium in the Ryman League Premier Division, kick off 7:45pm.

Farnborough Camp

Farnborough remain in 22nd place in the Ryman League Premier Division and have taken four points from a possible twenty this month.

Spencer Day’s side will be looking to end November on a high as we approach the half-way mark of the Season.

Last Tuesday evening, Farnborough squandered a 1-0 lead that they had kept for 76 minutes, as the Yellows lost 1-4 away to 11th placed East Thurrock United.

Speaking to GetHampshire following last weeks heavy defeat at East Thurrock United, Manager Spencer said: “We folded and our hearts went.

“This is not like our normal trips to Essex where we’ve been battered, we were leading 1-0 after 76 minutes and, although under pressure, we were relatively comfortable.

“But once we concede the first – which is a poor goal from our perspective – our young heads went. They thought they were nearly there. We’re getting closer.

Day added: “We got into some good areas in the first half without passing the ball properly and we had to defend well against a good side, who had the best player on the pitch in Lewis Smith.

“You kind of knew it was coming because we didn’t do the things right in the second half. We didn’t turn them round on a terrible pitch or give ourselves any breathing space, although the scoreline flatters them.”

Farnborough last time out (vs East Thurrock United): Aaron Bufton (gk), Darryl Siaw, Freddie Grant, CJ Fearn (Capt), Gary MacDonald, Tom Broadbent, Ryan Zidyana, Jack Barton, Bogdan Vastsuk, Tommy Wright, Nicholas Brown, Lewis Collins, Dean Joseph-Whittingham, Germaine Dua and Harry Knight.
