This Saturday, Farnborough host 11th placed Canvey Island in the first of two back-to-back Ryman Premier League Division games at The Rushmoor Community Stadium, kick off 3pm.

Farnborough Camp

Spencer Day’s young Farnborough side return to The Rushmoor Community Stadium hoping to earn their second three points of the Season.

Last time out in the Ryman League Premier Division, the Yellows went down 4-1 at Enfield Town and will be quickly looking to put that result behind them.

Farnborough will be without Nicholas Brown (injury), Adam Nditi (suspension), Martin Dynan (suspension) and Tom Broadbent (unavailable). Defender, Jack Barton remains a doubt through injury.

Winger Timi Abiola, however, is in contention after getting 45 minutes under his belt at Basingstoke Town on Tuesday evening.

Speaking to GetHampshire after last Saturday’s defeat at Enfield Town, Manager Spencer Day said: “I do sympathise with the fans, of course I do, and no-one gets more disappointed and angry than me when we lose games.

“You’ve got to be thick-skinned to be a manager and take the good times with the bad. We’re having awful luck at the moment and getting punished for every mistake we make. We’ve just got to learn from them and come back stronger.

“I have to apologise for Saturday, the second half just wasn’t good enough. We were the better team at 1-1, but then switched off for their second. The third goal was a clear foul on Victor [keeper Sylvestre-Brotons] and from then on our heads went. The sending off threw us, not them.

“It was the worst 30 minutes of the season so far.”

Farnborough from: Victor Sylvestre Botans (gk), Callum Webb, Chinua Cole, CJ Fearn (Capt), Ed Sanders, Lewis Collins, Bobbie Dale, Harry Williams, Tommy Wright, Bradley Fraser, Yasin Ben-Elmhanni, Nathan Chambers, Dean Joseph-Whittingham, Shaun Sims and Lheureux Menga.
