This Tuesday evening, Farnborough make the journey to Rookery Hill to take on 13th placed East Thurrock United in the Ryman League Premier Division, kick off 7:45pm.

Farnborough Camp

Spencer Day’s side still occupy 22nd place in the Ryman League Premier Division heading into Tuesday evenings game at Rookery Hill.

Last time out, Farnborough were held to a 1-1 at Home to relegation rivals, Needham Market.

Reading loanee, Bogdan Vastsuk gave the Yellows a 24th minute lead on Saturday, with his fourth competitive goal in four games.

Speaking after Saturday’s Home draw, Manager Spencer Day said: “East Thurrock have two of the best strikers you have in this League – [Sam] Higgins and Lewis Smith are a fantastic pair.

“It’s fair to say they’re a bit hit and miss. It will be very hard at East Thurrock. Every game’s hard away but we just need to somehow drag a result. A draw wouldn’t be a disaster, but drag a result out away from home.

“Difficult match then we’ve got Saturday off but then we play Hendon at Home on the Monday night.  We know it’s going to be a difficult week but we’re not far away.

“Home form’s good, lets desperately try and get something away from Home. Seven points out of nine at Home is not to be sniffed at at all.

“If we can get one result Away I think it will get that monkey off our backs and we’ll have a couple of players back aswell for Tuesday.
