Farnborough are in action this Tuesday evening as they travel to Nyewood Lane to take on Bognor Regis Town in the Ryman League Premier Division, kick off 7:45pm.

Farnborough Camp

Farnborough’s disappointing start to the Season continued on Saturday, with a 1-4 Home defeat to 2nd placed Dulwich Hamlet.

Spencer Day’s side went in 0-2 down at half time and despite a much improved Second Half performance which saw Tommy Wright grab a consolation, they concede a further two goals to seal the Yellows’ seventh League defeat of the Season.

Defender, Tom Broadbent (back) and midfielder, Perry Ryan (toe) were withdrawn after 24 minutes with injuries and are doubts for Tuesday’s clash.

However, Manager Spencer Day will be looking for a reaction as Farnborough look to climb out of the relegation zone.

Speaking after Saturday’s Home defeat, Day said: “They’ve [Bognor Regis Town] had a fantastic result today [Saturday]. There are an awful lot of [Farnborough] players that are struggling at the moment.

“It’s a fairly long trip down there. We’re certainly racking up the mileage in the next few weeks. We’ll go there as massive underdogs but we’re taking some pluses out of today because everyone saw here today for 25 minutes we played some great football.

“Their keeper’s kept the big gap between them and us at bay. It’s individual errors that are hurting us at the moment. There will have to be changes on Tuesday purely due to the injuries.

Day stressed: “Having to climb mountains every game is something we’ve got to resolve and it doesn’t any harder than going to Bognor [Regis Town] who have just beaten a side that’s second in the Conference South followed by the League leaders away next Saturday. So with our injury list, we’ll have to who’s fit and available.”

Farnborough last time out: Joe Tupper (gk), Marc Ethelston, Chinua Cole, Perry Ryan, Tom Broadbent, CJ Fearn (Capt), Lewis Collins, Matt Bevans, Bobbie Dale, Harry Williams, Tommy Wright, Jack Barton, Dean Joseph-Whittingham, Nicholas Brown, Martin Dynan and Nathan Chambers.
