Following the release of the Fixtures, Academy Manager Marc Wardley exclusively told www.farnboroughfc.co.uk: “Pre-Season is going well , the lads are working really hard, just need good result to get the confidence up.

“On Saturday we played Badshot Lea [First Team], a good positive performance. I felt we were the better team in the first half going in at 1-1 , it could easily have been 3-1 to us.

Wardley added: “Second half we lost our shape, they came out really up for the second half. The positives – we had the Academy back four in. They did really well.

“Looking forward to the season starting, it’s a tough start with Havant & Waterlooville and Eastleigh in the first few games. We have to play them some time, it may be good to to get them out of the way early.”
