After netting his second competitive Farnborough goal at the weekend, we caught up with on loan Woking forward Reece Beckles for an exclusive Interview.

Reece initially joined Farnborough on a months loan in early November last year and he opened his account 31 minutes into his debut in a 3-2 victory at St Albans City.

The former Aldershot Town man returned to parent Club Woking in December but re-joined on a months loan for his second spell at Paddy Power Park on 22 January 2015.

Beckles ended Farnborough’s goal drought of going four consecutive games without hitting the back of the net by opening the scoring in the 20th minute in Saturday’s 2-2 home draw with Hemel Hempstead Town.

Firstly, you must be pleased to have opened the scoring in Saturday’s 2-2 home draw with play-off chasing Hemel Hempstead Town?

“Yeah it’s always great to get on the score sheet and great to get a needed point.”

How have you settled back in with your second spell at Paddy Power Park?

“Settled in the same way as I did last time, the boys are great and always make me feel welcome.”

Beckles was a doubt for Saturday’s game after a nasty challenge in last Monday’s defeat to Boreham Wood

How would you describe the current mood in the dressing room?

“The dressing room is good but it’s obviously been a bit frustrating not getting the results we want.”

How confident are you that the team will get back into winning ways and what are your thoughts on the upcoming Bath City away game?

“Very confident. We have good players in our squad so I know we can turn our current form around.

“It’s gonna be a tough away game but all the games are gonna be tough from now until the end of the season.”

Do any particular upcoming games stand out as key games?

“All of them are, they are must win games.”

Finally, what targets would you set for the team to achieve come the end of the season?

“Staying up in the Conference South is the goal for the end of the season.”

Thanks for your time Reece, and good luck with the rest of your loan spell.
