Farnborough’s next pre-season fixture takes place at The Longmead Stadium as Spencer Day’s side make the trip over to Kent to take on Tonbridge Angels this Tuesday (tomorrow).

Farnborough, who have recorded three wins from five, go into their sixth pre-season friendly of the summer with plenty of confidence. From today (Monday) 12 days remain until the big kick off on 9th August and Farnborough will want to go into the first game of the season with plenty of confidence while leading pre-season goalscorer with three goals in five games Joe Taylor will be keen to add to his tally.

Tomorrow’s hosts Tonbridge Angels were relegated from the Conference South in the season just gone after finishing in 21st position but since then have appointed Steve McKimm as First Team Manager following the resignation of Tommy Warrilow at the end of the season. McKimm has been busy this summer, making no more than 10 new signings with only Jon Heath remaining from last season’s Conference South campaign, as well as the new manager promoting few Academy players.

This will be Farnborough’s first visit to The Longmead Stadium since the teams faced one another in the Conference South six months ago, with Farnborough emerging 3-1 winners on that occasion.

The most recent meeting between the two sides came in February this year, when Farnborough completed a league double over a now relegated Tonbridge Angels side with a 3-2 home win.

Tonbridge Angels from: Kyle Merson (gk), Jon Heath, James Folkes, Charlie Slocombe, Ben King, Jerome Sobers, Qudus Bolaji, Harry Harding, Lee Carey, Dee Okojie, Tom Parkinson, Tommy Whitnell, Billy Medlock, Harrison Tweddell and Owen Kabodi.
