Tomorrow (Monday) Farnborough play their second game in 48 hours against Jason Bristow’s high-flying Basingstoke Town side in a Hampshire derby.

Farnborough picked up their first three points of the season with a convincing 2-1 win at Wealdstone on Saturday and will be looking to reach six points when they take on second placed Basingstoke Town.

A stunning brace from summer signing Matt Ball gave Farnborough all three points on Saturday, whist most recent signing Adam Brice also made his debut coming off the bench in the 66th minute.

Manager Spencer Day will determined to win the first Hampshire derby of the season whilst and will be keen for his side to claim the first three points of the season at Paddy Power Park.

Visitors Basingstoke Town are managed by former player Jason Bristow and finished last season comfortably in mid-table in 14th place.

The Stoke have had a good start to their season winning three out of four of their fixtures having only conceeded one goal. Basinstoke lost their opening game 1-0 at home to Conference South new-comers Hemel Hempstead Town before going on a three match unbeaten run; winning 4-0 at Bath City, 3-0 at Bromley and most recently overcoming Hayes & Yeading United 1-0 at the newly-renamed Soccer AM Stadium.
