Vanarama Conference South action returns this Saturday as Farnborough travel to The Aspect Arena to take on 15th placed Concord Rangers.

17th place Farnborough head into the Saturda’s Vanarama Conference South clash having won the past four competitive fixtures, with the most recent win a 7-1 thrashing over Petersfield Town on Tuesday.

Recent signing from Bromley, Duncan Culley has netted three times in just two games and his expected to make up part of a confident Farnborough strike-force.

Defender Ollie Treacher will be available despite his red card picked up in Tuesday evening’s Hampshire Senior Cup win at Petersfield Town. The left-back will be suspended for Farnborough’s final to home games of 2014 against Maidenhead United and Whitehawk, and his sides first of 2015 at Chelmsford City.

Woking loanee Reece Beckles will also be available for selection after he was not permitted to feature in the FA Trophy and due to loan players being unavailable to play in the Hampshire Senior Cup.

Speaking to the News & Mail this week, Manager Spencer Day said:It’s a tough run for us. With all the travelling, possible postponements and two trips to Weston [Super-Mare] in four days, we are going to need all hands on deck and to keep showing that huge upturn in positivity we’ve seen since this new dressing room got together.

“These players have now won eight of the ten games they’ve been together in all guises, they are not used to losing. That, though, can change very quickly if we lose our focus.”
