Farnborough has announced it will play a pre-season friendly against Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Metropolitan Police at Imber Court on Tuesday 22nd July.

The Yellows will travel to Imber Court on Tuesday 22nd July (KO 7.45pm) as they build up towards the start of the 2014/15 Conference South season.

The fixture becomes Farnborough’s third confirmed 2014/15 pre-season friendly, following the announcements of a visit from an Oxford United first team on Saturday 12 July (KO 2pm) followed by a trip to Sutton United a week later on Saturday 19 July (KO 3pm).

The friendly will take place at Metropolitan Police’s (Imber Court) Sports Club, Ember Lane, East Molesey, Surrey, KT8 OBT.

Opponents Met Police have acted quickly this summer to bolster their squad with the signing of former Farnborough, fans’ favourite forward Michael Charles and Blues boss Jim Cooper will be hoping Charles can help fire his team towards the play-off places next term after a poor season by their standards, finishing 17th [out of 24]  with 58 points – 25 points away from fifth-placed AFC Hornchurch.

Met Police ended the 2013/14 season with a seventeenth-placed Isthman Premier League finish

More confirmed pre-season friendly fixtures as well as ticket details for all pre-season games will appear on www.farnboroughfc.co.uk in due course.
