Farnborough Football Club can confirm that Matt Ball has extended his loan until the end of the season from Sky Bet League One side Stevenage FC.

Following the departure of influential midfielder Steve Laidler yesterday, manager Spencer Day has acted swiftly to extend the young midfielders loan and will be hoping Ball will have a key part to play in Farnborough’s 14 Skrill South games still to play before the end of the season.

Ball has spent a good chunk of this season out on loan with Boro’s league rivals Boreham Wood, making 21 appearances and scoring 4 goals.

Since returning to Boro mid-February, Ball has made four appearances, scoring one vital goal in a 2-1 win at Hayes & Yeading just over a week ago.
