Spencer Day’s Farnborough will be looking to seize another opportunity towards securing their place in the Skrill South on Saturday when they take on promotion contenders Ebbsfleet United. (Skrill South League Fixture – Kick off 3pm)

‘Boro Camp

Ahead of the game, Boro boss Spencer Day told farnboroughfc.co.uk :

“I think our fans who turned up today [Tuesday at Hayes & Yeading], we put on a fantastic performance and we will look forwards to Ebbsfleet. We shouldn’t go to any team and be fearful of them, we do have this really difficult run of playing the top four – Eastleigh the other day and now we’ve got to play Ebbsfleet, Sutton and Bromley back to back almost with Basingstoke thrown in.

Very difficult games [coming up], we’ll stick together, we’ll try and upset the odds again. We’ve had a good February, one at a time and we’ll look forwards obviously a very difficult task on Saturday. But we’re delighted with tonight’s result and let’s try and build on that and see what we can get out of Ebbsfleet. “

Wheelchair users will pay the entrance cost appropriate to their age/status and if the attendance of a carer is required, the carer will be admitted free of charge. Please contact the club office on 01474 533796.

Car Park – There is limited space down side streets such as Grove Road, while Thamesway is designated a ‘Clearway’ and any cars parked along there are liable to being ticketed. There is also limited space available in surrounding residential streets. The EUFC car park offers ‘season-ticket parking’ for fans. Please contact the club for more details.

Ebbsfleet International Station offers secure matchday parking in its Car Park C for a small charge. It is only five to 10 minutes walk from the ground and is the best bet for a parking space in the area. Please aid the gate staff by having small change to hand. High-value notes cannot be changed on the premises.

Away Fans – (Where matches are unsegregated) as most are at Conference South level – away supporters can use the home turnstiles and make use of the Fleet Lounge club bar.

Directions

By Car –

From the motorway: Exit the M25 at Junction 2 and take the A2 signposted Canterbury. Leave the A2 at the Northfleet/Gravesend West junction. At roundabout, follow signs to Ebbsfleet International Station/A226 which will take you on to Thamesway and past Ebbsfleet International. The stadium is at the end of the road. Please contact the club if you have specific parking needs (for example, disabled parking).

From the town centre: Follow the one-way system round to Clive Road. Where the road splits past the railway station, next to the Somerset Arms pub, take the right turning, but immediately funnel into left-hand lane onto New Road/The Overcliffe. Continue straight for about two miles to London Road, then The Hill, then Northfleet High Street and finally past The Hive down to Stonebridge Road. The ground is at the bottom of the hill by the roundabout.

By Rail –

The nearest station is Northfleet (take Gravesend service from Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge). It is only about 300 yards from the ground.

As you leave the station go (more or less) straight ahead until you reach the main road. Turn left, walk to the bottom of the hill and the ground is on your right. The high-speed rail service from London St Pancras to Ebbsfleet International (15 minutes journey time) will also drop you near to the ground.

Alternatively, you can go to Gravesend station and get a bus to the ground. Come out of the station on the Town side and turn right. There are bus stops just by the station – the 480/490 service will drop you outside the ground. Alternatively take the FASTRACK “B” Service, which also serves Ebbsfleet International.
