EDIT: Farnborough Football Club can confirm the Loan signing of Fraser Colmer from Premier League side Southampton until the end of the season.

Colmer is a left-back who began his scholarship with Southampton in 2011, initially deputising for Luke Shaw.

He suffered a nasty injury in a game against Chelsea during the end of 2011/12, which hampered his development somewhat.

He was in and out of the under-18 side during 2012/13, suffering a series of knocks along the way, but displayed plenty of versatility in the matches he was able to compete in.

Colmer played in the centre of defence on occasions as well as his favoured full-back role and scored in a 4-2 defeat at Manchester United on 1st December 2012.

Colmer, 19, was offered an extra year at the end of his scholarship in 2013, having missed so much playing time through injury.

However, whilst on loan with league rivals Dorchester Town during December 2013, Colmer was informed by the Saints that he wouldn’t be offered a contract for next season and was training with Sky Bet Championship side AFC Bournemouth.
