Farnborough Football Club are pleased to announce the season-long loan signing of young forward Fejiri Okenabirhie from Sky Bet League One side Stevenage FC.

The 18-year-old, featured for Farnborough against Leyton Orient on Monday but was helped off with a back injury just half-an-hour in, although manager Day is hopeful the pacy front man will be fit to lead the line on Saturday.

Youngster Okenabirhie signed his first professional contract at Stevenage FC in the summer of 2014. The former Arsenal youngster joined Stevenage’s youth set-up in 2012 and was central to their FA Youth Cup run in 12/13, during which he scored five goals.

Last season he was moved up front from a wide position and responded with 35 goals in all competitions for the youth team, whilst also enjoying a successful short loan spell at Bedford Town.

Fejiri made his full Stevenage debut against Bristol City in April 2014 and hopes are high for the young striker.
