Following on from Wednesday’s triple signing, we can also confirm the signings of Spanish defender Amadeu Arnau, as known as Xapi, and defensive player David Banjo.

Spanish defender Amadeu Arnau, 26, impressed in the 5-2 win in a Friendly at Leatherhead on Wednesday evening and boss Spencer Day has acted swiftly to snap up his signature following a long-term injury to loanee Matt Bevans.

Xapi’s previous clubs in Spain include CE Sabadell (July 2009 – June 2011), A.D. Ceuta (July 2011 – June 2012) and most recently U.E. Sant Andreu (July 2012 – June 2014). The Spaniard also won the Copa Federación (Federation Cup) whist with Sant Andreu in the 2012/13 season.

David Banjo, 23, also featured in Wednesday’s Friendly win over Leatherhead and he left Scottish League side Arbroath in August this year after turning down the offer of a contract extension.

Banjo, who scored for Arbroath at Ibrox against Glasgow Rangers last season, is noted for his strength and pace – he can play at right-back or in central or right midfield.

He was a youth player at Tottenham Hotspur and was with Walton & Hersham, AFC Wimbledon and Ilford before a two-year stint at Gayfield.

Both players featured for in Farnborough’s 4-1 defeat to Gosport Borough earlier today – Arnau lasted 90 minutes while Banjo came off the bench in the 64 minute.
