Mindful of a number of availability issues between now and the end of the season, ‘Boro boss Spencer Day has added two old faces to the squad ahead of next Thursdays registration deadline.
Reece Jones rejoins the club, with uncertainty due to the managerial situation at Stevenage leaving the club unsure if Matt Ball’s loan will be extended.
Striker Phil Page has also signed on dual registration with Mole Valley SCR.
Day commented ” we are unsure what is happening with Matt and I am pleased that Reece has agreed to come back to us, although he is not available til next week.”
On Page he added “Pagey is joining on dual registration and will be available as and when his Mole Valley commitment allows, he came to our game at Sutton last week and explained that he is leaving his job on the police soon, and will be in a position to commit to a higher standard of football and I am sure we will be having conversations in the summer.”
On a busy day ‘Boro have also secured the services of Fulham frontman Richard Peniket for the remainder of the season, The Craven Cottage side agreeing to extend the youth loan he is currently on.
