48 hours on from a Boxing Day to forget, ‘Boro make a welcome return to Paddy Power Park to take on Havant & Waterlooville this Saturday (tomorrow).

Skrill South League Fixture – Kick off 3pm.

* NO PITCH INSPECTION AHEAD OF TOMORROW’S FIXTURE

‘Boro Camp

So far this season, Spencer Day’s men have won 6 of their 8 on home turf, so will be looking to get back to winning ways by halting a run of form that has seen them suffer four consecutive defeats. A win for ‘Boro would see them rise to 14th, and draw them away from the dreaded relegation zone. ‘Boro were defeated 2-1 at Westleigh Park in only their second game of the season in September, so ‘Boro will be hoping revenge is on the Cards (no pun intended!) as Paddy Power Park hosts its first Skrill South fixture in just over a month.

Goalkeepers Kevin Scriven and Matt Lovett remain ruled out through Injury, and Adam Doyle serves the second of his three match ban.

Opposition Camp

Lee Bradbury’s Havant & Waterlooville occupy 10th place, with only 1 of their 8 away victories this season coming on the road. In their latest League outing, Havant breezed past 10 men Gosport Borough, who had Brett Poate sent off after 40 minutes, with a comfortable 3-0 victory at Westleigh Park. Havant will be wanting to sneak into the play-off picture, and remain only 6 points off, despite having a few games in hand on the teams around them.

Previewing the game, Hawks boss Lee Bradbury told Portsmouth News: “I am targeting nine points in our Christmas games, so this is just a start.

“Although it will be tough, there is a lot of belief we can do it. We are now unbeaten in eight games and our players are starting to believe they can do something.”

A familiar face in the Havant line-up will be ‘Boro’s fans favourite, midfielder Nic Ciardini, who left ‘Boro for Havant in the summer.

One to watch: Sahr Kabba – 8 goals
