We would like to again acknowledge and pass on our sincere gratitude to those supporters who have generously contributed to the KOTK fund which has been ably managed by FaST.

As you are aware due to an unforeseen significant increase in the project cost led by a number of technical issues, this curtailed the project.

Whilst frustrating, the works that have been carried out have moved us much closer to having an operational commercial kitchen, a project that we are sure will be high on the agenda of any prospective purchaser.

Further to discussion with both FaST and Walsh Taylor, it has been recognised that funds are required to carry out the essential pitch renovations, further to this and following the first FaST committee meeting after the AGM it has been resolved that the remaining funds set aside for KOTK would be best served in funding the pitch renovation works.

A contractor has been sourced to carry out these works, and by the generous donations made this will allow us to carry out a far greater programme of renovation over the next few weeks, this will include.

  • Additional drainage channels in the PRE Half of the pitch which will alleviate many of the problems encountered last season.
  • Vertidraining of the playing surface
  • Renovations of the goal mouth areas and Assistant Referee channels
  • Seeding and Top Dressing of the playing surface
  • Fertilizing, Weeding and Worming programmes

FaST on behalf of the club would of course welcome any further donations.

Once again we thank you for the generous donations to date.

Kate Breese of Walsh Taylor and administrator of Farnborough Football & Social Club Limited commented

The Administration team would like to thank all Farnborough FC fans and FaST, for the support and donations that have been committed to date.

FaST have pledged funds to complete works on the pitch which is essential for next season to ensure the ground remains an attractive and usable ground. This funding carries on from that provided to the club for the refurbishment of the ground floor kitchen in the Club House; this work now being on hold pending the arrival of a new owner.

As Administrator I am overseeing such works although the works are being fully funded by FaST, which is essential to assist with the sales process.”
