Evo Stik Southern Premier Division newcomers Hungerford Town will play host to ‘Boro on Saturday 27th July.

“The Crusaders” gained promotion via the Division 1, South & West ┬áPlay Offs beating Merthyr Town 3-1 in the final, just reward for the team which finished runners up to Poole Town.

Whilst the two teams have not played each other since Farnborough reformed in 2007, the clubs have always enjoyed high goalscoring encounters, and you have to go back to October 1984 when the clubs last played competitively, Boro winning the FA Cup tie at Cherrywood Road 4-1 thanks to goals from Jimmy Bolton, Brian Broome, Brian Lucas and Richard Parkin.
