The club would like to extend its apologies to those that attended last nights match and also to Wycombe Wanderers Football Club after the match was abandoned at half time under the instruction of the match officials, with the visitors leading 2-0 courtesy of a brace from Arsenio Halfhuid.
Whilst a huge amount of work has gone into the pitch renovations over the summer, the match officials had concerns with the six yard areas which were re-turfed just over a week ago, and the drainage channels.
We acknowledge that we are a little behind schedule with regards the works, but would not have commenced the game if we felt there were any issues.
Whilst Football Conference rules are explicit in abandoned match policies, whereby if a match reaches half time, there is no obligation to refund any monies, following discussions between Club Officials and the Administrators it has been resolved that those who attended last night will upon production of the match ticket (which supporters were advised via the PA System last night to retain), will receive entry into our Pre Season Friendly against Sutton United on Saturday 10th August for half price.
Details of the match prices will be confirmed shortly.
Supporters who attended last night and are in possession of their match ticket are being asked to enter the ground for the Sutton match via the Club Shop.
Once again we re-iterate our apologies for the inconvenience last night, and thank you for your continued support.
